Punaiset tulppaanit on Kuolemattomat -sarjan ensimmäinen osa, joka kertoo  Ever nimisestä tytöstä, joka menetti perheensä auto-onnettomuudessa ja koulun uudesta tulokkaasta, mystisestä Damienistä.
  
 Ever Blom oli vähällä kuolla auto-onnettomuudessa, joka tappoi hänen koko perheensä, pikkusisko Riley myöten. Siitä saakka hän on nähnyt ihmisten auroja, aaveita, lukemaan ajatuksia ja koskettamalla näkemään ihmisen tarinan. Everin siirtyessä uuteen kouluun vain kuulokkeet ja kova emo-musa pitää Everin järjissään luokkahuoneessa, joka on huutavien ajatusten meri.
Hänen parhaita ystäviään ovat omalaatuinen Haven ja parrasvaloissa viihtyvä Miles.
Pian Everin jälkeen kouluun tulee häikäisevän komea Damien, jolla uusi auto ja kalliit kuteet. Damen näyttäisi olevan ainoa, jonka ajatuksia hän ei voi lukea. 
Everin viettäessä aikaa Damienin kanssa, hän huomaa, ettei poikakaan ole ihan normaali.
Ever oppii, että Damien on syy miksi hän selvisi auto-onnettomuudesta, ja ettei hän ole enää ihminen.
Hän on Kuolematon.

Kuolemattomat -sarja on ihan okei. Välillä se ärsyttää, koska hahmot ovat liian lapsellisia, se on kuitenkin sarja, jonka haluaa lukea loppuun asti, koska lopussa kaikki kutkuttavat salaisuudet paljastuvat ja epäselvät seikat muuttuu selviksi. Kirjasarjasta juuri tämä ensimmäinen osa on paras ja viimeinen (Elämän Värit).

Evermore is the first book of Immortals-serie. Evermore is about a girl, Ever who lost her whole family in a car accident and schools new, mystical student, Damien.
Ever Blom almost died in a car accident, which killed her whole family, even little sister Riley. Since then, she can see peoples auras, ghosts, read thoughts and see one's past by touching her/him. Only emo -music and earphones keeps her alive in a classroom, screaming ocean of diffrent thoughts.
Her best friends are spotlight loving Miles and Haven, odd-bird.
Soon after, new and handsome, rich as well,  student comes to school. He has cool car and expensive clothing. And he seems to be only one, whos thoughts she can't read.
As they spend more time together Ever learns he isn't normal either. She learns that Damien is the very reason she survived at the car crash, why she has these special powers and that she isn't human anymore.
She is Immortal.

The Immortals is okay. Sometimes it's annoying because characters are so naïve. But in the end it is a serie you want to read till the end, because all the secrets are revealed at the very end of the serie and unckear things come clear. This and the very last book (Everlasting) are the best books in Immortal -serie. If you liked Becca Fitzpatrick's Hush Hush-serie, this is for you!
